Beginning in 1952, the Allis-Chalmers line was offered to the residents of Southeastern Illinois. In subsequent years many other lines have been added to serve the resident of the area.

Herschel Johnson Implement, Inc., is a family owned business established in 1952, by Herschel J. Johnson and his wife Doris. The business was established based on service. Their eldest son, Leon, joined the business in 1977. We and our employees strive to stay abreast of the latest technology. Employees attend periodic sales and service training schools. The business system is computerized for up to date information and accounting purposes.
